Women's & Men's Fellowship

 

‘WOMENS’ FELLOWSHIP: We are a branch of the ‘Moravian Women’s Fellowship of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.(M.W.F.)

 

MISSION: Under the guidance and grace of God we seek to:

 

1.      Bring together in our Fellowship, sisters of our congregation into a selfless  bond of ‘Love and Service’

 

2.      Promote an awareness of moral, ethical, and spiritual principles among our sisters.

 

3.      Provide opportunities for all members to undertake practical, civic, social and spiritual service.

 

MEMBERSHIP: Full membership is open to all sisters who are communicant members of the Moravian Church.

 

Associate Membership is open to any sister, young or old or .non-communicant that are receptive to the word of God and ready and willing to learn a skill.

 

Responsibilities are evenly distributed among Executive and Committee Members. There is a monthly visitation of sick and shut-in with gift baskets, floral arrangements or cards.

 

ACTIVITIES:

 

·         Regular Fund Raising through Tea Parties; Fish Fries; Floral and Goodies Sales, Beach Trips, Concerts and Self Denials,

 

·         General Church Activities: Working with the MEN’S FELLOWSHIP the Women is in charge of the Churches Annual Harvest Supper and any form of refreshment for functions held at the church.

 

·         Church Worship Services: The Women are on charge of mornings worship services on Alternate Fourth Sundays.

 

·         Choir: The Women’s Fellowship Choir participates in worship service s and special functions

 

·         Feeding the Children at VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL and CHRISTMAS TREATS are activities the sisters find pleasure in doing.

 

·         Father’s Day:  The women and the youths are always responsible for the ‘Father’s Day Service every year, All Fathers present are treated to a gift a boutonniere and refreshment.

 

·         Telephone Prayer Ministry: Through one past president’s efforts a telephone prayer ministry was established.

 

MEN’S FELLOWSHIP:

 

‘Rise up O ’Men of God

 

The Church for you doth wait

 

Her strength unequal to her task

 

Rise up and make her great.

 

The New Beulah Men’s Fellowship over the years, has been actively involved in contributing towards the overall functions of the church. Some of these include

 

·         Being in charge of Service on designated Sundays

 

·         Assisting with Boys Brigade, Mother’s Day Service ,Harvest Service and Supper, Manse Property maintenance.

 

·         Social and Community activities: Working with the ‘Ebenezer Home for the Mentally Challenged, Religious Crusades, Church In-gathering ,Social Events, visitation of men’s functions in other churches, and the overall up-keep of the church’s property.

 

·         MEMBERSHIP::Communicant male members as well as young men who indicate their willingness to be members.

 

·         MEN’S CHORALE&PRAISE AND WORSHIP TEAM.: The President of the fellowship directs the Men’s Chorale as well as the Churches’ Praise and worship team.

 

·         The men of New Beulah Moravian Church will continue to rise up and make her great in faith, worship and thanksgiving.
